Developer House House has officially announced a release window for Untitled Goose Game, and it is coming to the Nintendo Switch. It also looks like the name is sticking. Before, it was assumed to be a placeholder title.

Untitled Goose Game puts the player in the role of a goose that wreaks havoc upon the NPCs in an unsuspecting village.

A list of tasks will be presented, asking players to solve puzzles by executing manipulative stunts targeted at the NPCs of the game. The goose can “honk” at people doing everyday life chores, and ruin their day by causing unneeded havoc. Want to steal a gardener’s hat? Or maybe run into a store and knock down items? Untitled Goose Game gives you just that option and more.

The trailer below shows the Nintendo Switch announcement for the game, if giving people a hard time as a goose gives you some sort of pleasure, you might want to check it out.

Untitled Goose Game will be launching in early 2019 for the PC, Mac, and console-exclusive Nintendo Switch.

Writer’s Opinion:

Untitled Goose Game has been on my radar since I watched a trailer for it back in 2017. I find the idea odd, but very unique as I would have never thought playing as a menacing goose while making people’s lives difficult a fun puzzle experience. Though that is just what the developer House House had in mind, and I am very stoked to try their game out. As I say with many indie titles announced for the Switch, I find this game perfectly suitable for the console.
